Candelilla Wax
Candelilla Wax is a wax obtained from the leaves of the Candelilla shrub tree which is native to Mexico and USA. Candelilla is similar to Carnauba wax, but it has a lower melting point and is softer. Candelilla is a vegetable wax that is often used as a substitution for beeswax and it is rich in nutrients too. Due to its emulsifying properties, Candelilla is often used to add textures in formulas to prevent oil and liquid from separating.
