Sometimes referred to as Methylated Spirits, Denatured Alcohol includes specific additives that make it non-drinkable. It is a type of ethanol that not only smells foul but also tastes bad and is poisonous if ingested. It is typically used as a solvent for numerous applications such as fuel for alcohol burners, camping stoves, and as a cleaning agent. Some cosmetic uses include toners, lotions, hair treatments, creams… etc as well as skin disinfection for ear piercing, or as an astringent for unbroken skin.

Use: Add directly to formula. Typical use level 1-20%.
