Birch is a thin-leaved tree from the family Betulaceae which is also closely related to the beech-oak trees. The leaves are known to contain a lot of Vitamin C to make medicine, and is usually used for urinary tract infections as well as a diuretic to increase urine output. Topically, Birch is used in cosmetics and skin care formulations to sooth irritated and sensitive skin. Birch leaf is known for its ability to hydrate and purify skin, and reduce inflammation.
