Cypress Essential Oil

Also known as Cupressus Sempervirens, the Cypress essential oil is obtained from the needle-bearing tree of coniferous and deciduous regions.  It is known to aid nervousness and anxiety, improves respiratory systems, and detoxes the body from toxins. The Cypress oil can be used in vapor therapy, used topically and in some cases, for ingestion in small doses. It is known for its many health benefits such as alleviates menstrual problems, reduces water retention, helps regulate blood flow, and act as a muscle relaxant. Cypress oil is used today in many cosmetic products such as soaps, perfumes, men’s cologne and aftershave.
