Palm Kernel Oil – Organic

Palm Kernel Oil, also known as Elaeis Guineensis, is obtained from the kernels of the Oil Palm fruits. It contains a high amount of lauric acid which is a type of saturated fatty acid similar to Coconut Oil. It is one of the most popular oils used in the soap and food industries. Palm Kernel is more saturated than Palm Oil and is comparable to Coconut Oil. It should be not confused with Palm Oil which is extracted from the pulp of the Oil Palm Fruit and Coconut Oil which is extracted from the kernel of the coconut.
