Sodium Hyaluronate is the sodium salt of Sodium Hyaluronate acid. It’s smaller molecular size compared to Sodium Hyaluronate acid enables it to easily penetrate lower layers of skin to promote nutrient absorption and maintains moisture. Hyaluronic acid was once derived from animal ingredients but due to increasing concerns on making animal-free products, new methods were introduced to extract hyaluronate acid from vegetable sources.
INCI Name: Sodium Hyaluronate Solution
Properties: A clear transparent solution which is soluble in water. Derived from Ecocert and made from pure Sodium Hyaluronate, Aqua, Glycerin, and Phenoxyethanol.
Use: Add directly to formula at room temperature. Typical use level 0.5%-50%.
Applications: All types of cleansing products such as skin and hair cleansers.
