Chamomile Water, also known as Antemis Nobilis Flower Water, is a hydrosal obtained through distillation process. Hydrosols are also called Flower Waters, Hydroflorates, and Hydrolats. They are usually used in perfume making, medicinal making, as well as for culinary uses.
Chamomile has a soothing and calming scent, and is usually used in relaxing sprays or in cosmetic formulations such as toner and skincare products. Chamomile is known to have anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, bactericidal and sedative qualities, and is safe to use on babies and pets.
