Lapsang Souchong

Lapsang Souchong is a Chinese black tea native to the mountainous Wu Yi region, in the province of Fujian. This is a strong, healthy, and flavorful tea with an amazing smoky flavor and fragrance.

Tea leaves are specially picked and smoked with pine fire to produce a smell of barbecue or campfire. Some of the benefits include preventing tooth decay and high blood pressure.

To make a brew, water temperature should be about 80–85 °C (176–185 °F). A brewing time of 3–5 minutes is recommended, depending on desired strength. This tea contains a high level of caffeine.
